Inkslinger tour3/22/2023 The demon prince is arrogant, dangerous, and hot as sin.Īs a fae slave, I knew that one day I’d be sold at auction, but I never expected to be purchased by royalty, much less by the demon prince himself. Thank you to InkSlinger PR for an e-ARC of the book.Īdd Sold to the Demon Prince to Goodreads.Īnother promotional image provided by the blog tour organizer Blurb But the story trumps everything, as it gradually picks up the pace and runs toward a happy but ominous ending, for now, which is to be continued in the next book, Stolen from the Demon Prince. This is my first read by Lauren Crowne and the blurb reeled me in, followed by the hot cover. Sold to the Demon Prince by Lauren Crowne The world is going to change-I’m going to make it change-but it has to be changed slowly, carefully, thoughtfully. As Leo is nearing his goal toward the end of the story, they decide to take the fight to where it belongs. This is such an exciting story, where there is something new at every turning point. Azazel (as seen in X-Men: First Class) came to my mind (perhaps except for the colouring, not exactly sure, but with wings), if you want to imagine a demon (apologies, for my references are limited). Set on a fictional island, Alliance Island, where Vera remembers being since she was five (after she was taken from her family), Sold to the Demon Prince is a unique story that has demons, humans, faeries, wolves, and other creatures in attendance.Īmong them, Faes are the lowest of the lot, enslaved by the humans, snatched at a tender age from their families, living pitiful lives under human supervision, only for the reason that the indifferent and cruel humans need the power of the Dust that they can create from Fae blood.īut there’s a hierarchy in place in this terrible society, the demons being the richest, followed by human wannabes, and then faes. For a wingless one, Vera seems to have a strange pull over Leo, the exact reason for which he is yet to discover. From there starts their journey of discovering a new way to keep the masses (shitty humans and scary wolves) happy and simultaneously free the faes from bondage. Sold to the Demon Prince starts with a chance meeting between Leo and Vera, where he accidentally tastes her blood. The Blood War may have resulted in the enslavement of faes a long time ago but Leo and Vera have promised themselves to free all the fae. And the tension between Leo and Vera throughout the story is palpable. This story is the next big thing in fantasy literature! Yes. A promotional image provided by the blog tour organizer Review
